Week of May 23rd

This week we are done Equalities and Inequalities with a test on Thursday, May 26th.

Students are working on spillover from last week: Circle Geometry and must have everything done for the final text on Monday, May 30th.

Work includes:

Page 410 questions 3 - 9
Complete Review page 418 - 419

Some students are done everything (AWESOME) and have written the Circle Geometry test. For those of you who have not, do your homework and get done!

We have week of May 30th to work on Probability, then we will begin our review week June 6th.

2. A) Complete worksheet: Geometry and Heraldry. This worksheet will give you practice with a protractor. B) Question: From your definition list, what shapes and parts of shapes can you label on your shield? Name and label them.

3. A) Complete worksheet: Parts of a Circle. Follow instructions carefully and B) write definitions for each of the following:

circumference, diameter, semicircle, quadrant, radius, chord, segment, sector

4. A) Complete TWO worksheets Angles and Their Measures/and Classifying Angles and B) write definitions for:

acute, obtuse, right and straight angles, complementary angle, linear pair, vertical and adjacent

5. Complete Pythagorean Theorem worksheet

6. Complete Worksheet Examples. Then, when complete, turn to page 386 and 387 in your text. Verify your answers and fix your mistakes. You are ready to move on: complete textbook work: page 388/389 questions: 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 11, 12

7. Review complete page 308 and 309 questions 3 – 16. If you need help: reference your notes or turn to page 307 in the text (Study Guide).
